We bought our beautiful fox red Labrador puppy Iago from Vicky and Mike in September and we could not have given him a better start in life . We spoke to Vicky while Iago’s mum Ruby was still pregnant and were instantly impressed with Vicky’s rigorous approach to health testing but especially to the diligence with which she identifies the best possible homes for her puppies. Vicky is passionate about giving the puppies the best start in life and created a beautiful dedicated learning and development centre for the puppies, providing them with a glorious playroom with audio and visual stimulation to accelerate their learning from the youngest possible age. Vicky is an outstandingly ethical breeder , and spent two years preparing for Iago’s mum Ruby’s litter .

Vicky health tested mum Ruby and dad Rogan with 16 health tests for genetic conditions, on top of hips, elbows and eye tests, and also got an ultrasound of Iago’s hips at seven weeks. I have read every Kennel Club registered advert for puppies on Champdogs and am yet to find a comparatively thorough approach to promoting the purity of the Labrador breed. Vicky called me every week from Iago’s birth which enabled me to share the joy of watching him growing up from an early age . Vicky consistently sent me daily videos and photos of the and the idyllic orchard farm home their mum grew up on throughout the 8 weeks of Iago’s development, which was a daily highlight.

When we collected Iago in person, we were very moved by the very strong bond which Vicky had clearly developed with the puppies. Vicky gave us a beautiful puppy pack with food, local water, toys and treats, and walked us through his very comprehensive paperwork.

We feel very privileged to be entrusted with a Nook on Lyne Labrador. Iago is an absolute dream, and everyone comments on how healthy, happy and intelligent he is. We couldn’t be more grateful to Vicky and Mike for giving our darling such a great start in life and couldn’t recommend Nook on Lyne Labradors enough . Thank you , Vicky and Mike !
