After a difficult few years we made the decision at Christmas 2022 that 2023 would be the year we would get the labrador puppy we always wanted. Having decided we wanted a fox red labrador we started to look at breeders on line and do some research. We knew the importance of finding an ethical and reputable breeder and it was important to us that our puppy had the best start in life and came from parents who had been health tested to try and ensure this. On looking at the Nook on Lyne Labradors website we were very impressed with what we read, the extensive health testing and the reviews. After a telephone conversation with Vicky in January 2023 we were invited to visit Nook on Lyne to meet Vicky and Mike and all their beautiful Labradors, following which we were even more impressed and we knew then that we definitely wanted a Nook on Lyne puppy. We were accepted onto the list for Honey and Diesels late summer litter. Vicky kept us updated about the mating, pregnancy and then the birth of the puppies with regular messages, photos and videos. After the puppies were born we received regular video calls so we could see how the puppies were growing and developing and see them with Honey. It was lovely to feel a part of the process. We visited again when the puppies were 6 weeks old when we met our puppy Munro.

We brought Munro home 9 days ago, he's a gorgeous puppy and seems to be settling in with us, despite some challenges with him which we understand is normal with a puppy of his age and once we have overcome these we will have the loving family dog we wanted. Munro is very intelligent and already seems to recognise his name and he is quickly learning the sit and leave commands and he barks when he wants to go out for toileting.

Would definitely recommend Nook on Lyne Labradors to anyone looking for a labrador breeder. The care and attention to detail by Vicky and Mike is second to none. Catherine, Alan and Laura.
